This year’s conference focused on CBM’s flagship project of ophthalmic training in Angola as well as the importance of local partners and their crucial part in the success of CBM projects.
“It was a pleasure to see donors and friends on this special occasion to mark 5 years of achievements for CBM Luxembourg”, said Diane Wolter, President of Fondation CBM Luxembourg. “It was also wonderful to have Dr Berna-Thill report live from Angola, where she was visiting our local partners”.
Isabelle Faber, Director HR, Public Relations & CSR at POST Luxembourg kicked off the event with a short presentation of POST’s inclusion initiatives to support partially-sighted employees.
Diane Wolter recounted the 5 years of achievements of CBM Luxembourg, including the decisive trip to Angola in 2019 and the founding steps that have enabled CBM to achieve so much in 5 short years.
