Attendees can now register for the Fondation CBM Luxembourg Conference on October 10th

Conference to be held at Auditorium Hôpitaux Robert Schuman, in Kirchberg, on World Sight Day

We are pleased to announce that registration for the CBM Luxembourg annual conference is now open. Registration can be done using this link.

CBM Luxembourg Board members Dr. Michelle Berna-Thill, and Isabelle Schwall, along with Lucie Fernandes da Silva, a nurse at HRS, will present the latest on our project in Angola. They will recount their visit to Angola, trainings for doctors and nurses, the new Memorandum of Understanding with our local partner, IONA, as well as information on new medical devices.

Mark Schmid, CBM Luxembourg Board Member, will present about the importance of training for sustainability of CBM’s work.

Frank Groben, CBM Luxembourg Board Member and Director of CDV (Centre pour le Développement des Compétences relatives à la Vue), will present the Erliefnismobil and its visit to schools in Luxembourg.

We are also thrilled to have Terje Iversen as our guest speaker. Terje Iversen has over 30 years of experience leading programs for the Norwegian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted. He will share with us his professional knowledge of international development work and eye health care, especially in Africa.

 After the Conference, we invite all attendees to join us for the Cocktail. Attendees will then have the chance to admire artworks from students of CDV.
